I came across Patchwork back in July with that post I did on his track ‘Cigarettes.’ I didn’t know anything about him them, but he did some reaching out and his name is Garrett Lockhart and he’s from Nanaimo B.C. so that’s sick cos he’s the first Canadian islander I’ve ever heard of.
Anyways, as of September 1st he’s released his first collection of music, called Changes. It’s six tracks of that suave downtempo goodness that I was hoping for after I heard ‘Cigarettes,’ and there’s a vocal feature from the seemingly omnipresent pipes of Steffaloo. Can’t wait to hear more from Patchwork as these changes start to take [even more] form. Listen/download below. Physical copy out Sept. 28th via Purr Tapes.
download Changes from uploaded.net [yea it's a newalbumreleases link but it's on his bandcamp soooo]
