The highly anticipated project Structure 4 The Youth, straight from Steel Tipped Dove’s secret-volcano Park Slope studio. I remember this whole network of dudes kinda coming together. It didn’t take too long for Bill Ding to get the Steel Tipped Dove cosign and they were at it, the tape was recorded in 2 days. Steel Tipped Dove is bringing the heat on this record, the collaboration between the two allows for a pretty fair amount of weirdness, maybe this would fall into what Raj would call “classy trap bangers” “call it–iono some shit I made.” The production is still refreshing cause it’s a break from the norm, especially when talkin hip hop shop. Bill Ding adapts to these beats so nicely, jokes on West Wall’s End, hard in the paint on Pyaar Impossible w Lakutis, laid back w/ that fake-rapper laugh on Beauz and Arroz, funky interlude-like track, Oil Her Tits, then back at it on a flawless backdrop, Lucky Numbers. The DVS feature is even another flow and Castle Doctor is slowed the fuck down so it’s a real assortment of bangers, you’re bound to find at least one you like.
