This is the lifesaver thrown at a desperate aesthetic right before it drowned. This is how you meaningfully collage vintage footage (in this case from Steve McQueen’s film, Bullit), by substantiating it with a quality song and masterful editing. This makes every hipster with a Super 8 look like a chump. Not to mention the supreme production by Walsh, which clearly owes it’s sound Italian discotheques of the 80s or perhaps more recently, Drive. The video was directed by Bradon Tausik with Sprinkle Lab, and stars: Squadda Bambino and Mondre M.A.N or Main Attrackionz, DJ Bad Slorp, Ratchet Ramone, Anie, DJ Bobby Peru, Oliver of Dreamcollabo. The track is off of Antwon‘s Fantasy Beds Mixtape, download it here, you’ll catch Clams Casino‘s work on there. Shouts to the Bay Area.
