EP / mp3: Terracotta Blue – One Million Sunsets

17 Aug

Meet Jay, aka Terracotta Blue. He’s from Montgomery County aka “The District”, aka DC. He has an ear for melancholic sounds, that’s why most times you’ll be hearing more mellow, darker-type beats on One Million Sunsets. Originally influenced by hip-hop, this ‘chillwave’ sound is more of a break from the norm for him.

Regarding his sound, Jay says:

If I had to describe my music further I would say it’s a soundtrack to autumn.  I absolutely love everything about autumn–the weather, the colors, the smells.  So I just try do music that reminds me of that time of year.

This electro stuff he’s currently working on has been a “natural progression” for him. He’s gearing up to release a 9-10 track album around his favorite time of the year. Best of luck to Jay on his album! Peep “Transmission” below, and listen further / download his tracks on his Soundcloud, or Bandcamp which is equipped with an alternative Mediafire link.
