We bumped into Cassida Pax, aka Ricardo Stacey, on twitter and I checked out the demos he’s made in the last year since splitting from his 2010 music project. If you’re a fan of Lou Reed’s unimposing intonations then move grabbing these demos to the top of your priority list; if you’re not into Lou you might as well leave this site. Besides sounding like a musical god, Cassida Pax’s demo EP offers understated lo-fi pop songs that are perfect in their own right, which isn’t to say they couldn’t benefit from a little polishing. Keep your ear to the ground for more from Stacey, and check out his demos for free on his bandcamp.
