Album: T.Shirt – I Should Just Chill

1 Jun

Over the past couple weeks we’ve covered the first two singles, Ode To Raekwon, and the 88 keys diss Don’t Take It Personal. With last week’s drop, Shirt had mentioned that he was going to drop an album, but hadn’t come up with a name for it yet. It didn’t slip my mind… but the week went by quick and to see it here in full for some reason is surprising. Albums & mixtapes never come out on time on time anymore, after release dates get pushed back for months they just appear out nowhere. T.Shirt is on time, though.

Judging by the track list, it looks like Shirt is bringing the heat on this record. He’s got both J. Cole and Illtal on the beats. There’s also another track produced by the Letter L, the mastermind behind the Ode To Raekwon. More fresh sounds come in the form of a sick sample from Shaun Lee’s Ping Pong Orchestra. It’s a solid project, I highly recommend picking it up.
